I am most grateful that your blog created this link to CubaResponde. As I wrote in CubaResponde-International, this National Post editorial is simply the best expose of the agitprop (I love this word) use by the Cuban regime. One can only hope that other newspapers are able to see past their political perspective, often laced with anti-Americanism or anti-establishment sentiments, and recognize the manipulation that the utterances of the Castro gerontocracy represent. National Post deserves our gratitude.

It is important to remember that in the early 60s Castro I (aka Fidel) issued an executive order about Cuban diplomats in North America: All of then has to be active member of the Cuban “intelligence” (which is a very euphemistic way to call the regime’s political police), and all of then are under his direct command. On that context, comrade Senti Darias is just pretending to be a diplomat; his real work is to move as a senile dictator’s puppet.
